Anne-Marie Jean was born on June 3rd, 1935 to Anacreon and Lovana Jean in Poulie, Haiti. She departed this life on September 21, 2021, at home with her family at the age of 86.  She was a resident of Macungie, PA for 10 years.

Anne-Marie completed her primary and secondary education in the Episcopalian school system and proceeded her training in Seamstress Trade School.  She was self-employed as a successful seamstress for more than four (4) decades before retiring due to poor eyesight.  She was born and raised as an Episcopalian and spent much of her life in service of the Saint Esprit Episcopal Church in Lascahobas, Haiti.  On January 21, 2014, she was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church and joined the Shekinah SDA Church family in Allentown, PA where she served as a deaconess until her passing.

She was the oldest of six (6) children. She was preceded in death by her parents: Anacreon and Lovana Jean; sisters: Audette Jean, Gertha Jean and Margarette Jean; brother: Danère Jean; and her eldest daughter: Roodislande Boubert.  She is survived by her sister: Nicole Jean and her husband; children: Midsie Boubert Jean and her husband Guy, and Vaillant Saint Fort Jean and his wife Modeline; grandchildren: Franckline Joseph, Synndie Etienne Brown and her husband Clint, Gabriel Jean, Lentz Jean, Marvins Jean and Taina Jean; Great-grandchildren: Madison Joseph, Christopher Joseph, Ryleigh Marie Brown and Franklin Joseph; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

To know her was to love her. She was a friend to all. Her door was always open, and though she didn't have much, she was always willing to share it with others. She touched many with her love, kindness and ready smile and laughter. Her impact on our lives can never be forgotten.
